Tired From All of the Holiday Fun

It was a terrific Christmas this year! So happy that my Dad, Mary, Christopher, and The Lopers were able to come visit us Christmas Eve Day. Christmas Eve we went to Candy's for dinner and had her amazing Gumbo and Brie Bread (YUM!!). Christmas day we opened presents, went to our Family Memory Tree on Hudson Bend Road to take a moment to remember all of the loved ones that are no longer here with us.  I'm so happy we started this tradition and can't wait for Weston to be apart of it. After  we visited our tree we took a nice drive down 360 to look at all of the other decorated trees and then hiked our way up Mt. Bonnell to take a look at the  view...it was beautiful but super windy! Christmas Dinner was amazing and we got to spend the day with family, which is always my favorite part of Christmas. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this year too! :)

The Bruegger Family Comes to Visit

This past weekend the Bruegger Family (except Hannah) came to visit us and it was a great time! We went to the Boat House to eat a delish (and very fried) lunch and then headed to Bangers to celebrate Robert's 31st Birthday. It was nice to see that there are kid, dog, and pregnant lady friendly bars around town.

We learned this weekend that Camo is very "child proof". Michael used him as a pillow, a jungle gym, and also as a means of transportation and Camo didn't seem to mind at all. He is such a sweet boy and Sam and I were very proud of him.

We also learned that we have some major childproofing to do around the house and outside.

We can't wait for The Brueggers to come visit us again!!

As seen above, Earl loves to nap...and he will nap anywhere, with anyone, and with anything. But his favorite naps are with me (of course). Speaking of Naps..I could use one myself right now. I tried to be cleaver enough to make each one rhyme but obviously that did not work out...I bet if I would have had a nap before I started this entry I could have made it work:)
