Uncle Max is the Coolest!

Max came over the other weekend and Weston just loved hanging out with his Uncle Max...and when Weston was not playing with Uncle Max he was watching his every move (with a smile). Weston also made sure he was wearing the dirt bike shirt Uncle Max got him!

Weston has always felt comfortable around Mason (and he isn't like that with everyone) and will go to him
with no hesitation...it is so sweet. Weston and Mason went walking around Matt's to check out all of the cool stuff and a little after they got back to the table an older man came up to Mason to let him know that he has a very fantastic little boy for a son and that he is going to grow up to be great...it was pretty funny. I love this picture of Weston and his buddy Mason.

11 Months!!

11 Months and getting more and more handsome by the day! So I pretty sure I say this every month but I seriously can't believe how fast Weston is growing up...I know his Daddy feels the same. He is crawling around at the speed of lightening (not so interested in walking yet), saying new words almost daily (he loves to copy what we say), developing the cutest little quirks, and growing up to be the most amazing, fun loving, and happy little boy...We couldn't be more blessed!

Likes:

Eating whatever we are eating (he tried Daddy's tuna salad the other day and loved it...who would have thunk it:))
Playing with all of his super cool toys. He is really into be pushed around in his little car that Uncle Steve and Aunt Tricia got him for Christmas, playing with the huge ball maze thingy that uncle kenneth got him, knocking over blocks, making music with his guitars, and of course he still loves playing with all of the non toy things he can get his hands on too.

Hollering and having you holler back at him
Trying to capture Earl and Playing with Camo (and by playing with I mean crawling all over Camo and trying to poke his eyeballs...poor Camo...but he is so patient with Weston

Anything that involves music (Music channel, palladia, live concerts...he has taken an extreme liking to watching cold play)
Helping Daddy or me vacuum

Dislikes:

When we stop vacuuming (if it was up to Weston we would vacuum everyday for hours on end)
Getting into his car seat
Diaper changes and outfit changes
When we don't share our food/drink with him (we try to cook / eat things that he can eat too but it doesn't always work out that way) Sometimes Sam and I will take turns sneaking a bite or 2 while the other distracts him lol

Other Fun Stuff:

He loves to talk and says "mommomom" a lot now. He also likes to repeat or at least try to repeat words we say...Earl, dog, ball
He has 6 teeth in and 2 more are about to come in
He just started this new thing in the last couple weeks....when he gets mad or frustrated he kind of grinds his teeth and holds his breath for a second while making this funny grunting sound...I guess you would have to see him do it but it is pretty funny (even though we hate seeing him mad we can't help but laugh) My mom used to grind her teeth when she got mad...she must have passed that down to him.

Bringing in the New Year Beaver Style!! NYE 2014

Sam, GiGi, and I got brave for New Years and drove down to Beaumont (9ish hour drive-round trip) so we could celebrate New Years at Uncle Steve and Aunt Tricia's. They always have a NYE party with lots of amazing fire works and fun times. We got to see Aunt Brooke, Uncle Will, Bre and her awesome bf John, Kaleb and his sweet gf Kara, Aunt Paige, Uncle Brian, Aaron, and of course Uncle Steve and Aunt Tricia....Um Papa Mow Mow came over to ring in the new year with us too! Weston got lots of fun Christmas gifts from everyone...he is one loved little boy!

Lorla's Surprise 30th Birthday

Between our Christmas with The Brueggers and our Christmas with The Lopers at my dads house Weston and I went to Lorla and Shane's new beautiful home for Lorla's Surprise 30th Birthday Party. Since we were at a new place with lots of new people Weston mainly wanted to hang with me but he did go to Mr. Barry for some quality guy time. It seems that Weston feels most comfortable being help by tall men and if they have a beard that is an added plus for them :). Weston also got to see his Yia Yia Teri, Ms. Susan, Aunt Ashletta, Joe Mac and some of my Houston peeps! When Weston got acquainted with everyone and wanted to crawl around Stella and Sharon (Lorla and Shane's sweet dogs) were there to give him lots of kisses.

Tomball Christmas

Weston and I went to Tomball the Friday after Christmas so we could do our "Tomball Christmas" and celebrate Laura's 30th Birthday. Weston slept the whole way there and the whole way back (he is such a good little traveler) and was ready to party once we arrived. We got to spend time with my dad ,Mary, Aunt Charlotte, Kara, Paul, Madison, Michael, (Hannah was out of town so we didn't get to see her but we miss her and hope to see her soon), Chris, Tina, Clay, Carolyn, and Caleb. Weston had so much fun playing and watching his cousins and it was great getting to spend some quality time with the fam. Michael was showing Weston all of his sweet karate moves...he can kick some grandpa butt with all of his moves! Weston got so many fun toys too and he loves playing with all of them but his most favorite "toy" to play with that weekend was....my lint roller (go figure lol). We had a fun filled weekend and were sad to go and can't wait to visit again.
