Almost there...Weeks 36 and 37

Week 37_01292013 (oopsy poor planning on my part wearing the same shirt as the week before...With that being said my wardrobe is getting more limited every day)

I am almost 38 weeks and am very willing to do whatever it takes to get this show on the road:). My doctor told me that the wives tale is that eating pineapple, black licorice, and drinking raspberry red leaf tea will speed the process up so guess who went to the store soon after to pick up those items...This girl!
Sam and I are so ready for Weston to be here so we can hold him in arms and see his sweet little face.

 My Austin Baby Shower was so great! All thanks to Leah, Blaire, and everyone else who pitched in to help. From the super cute decorations to the yummy food spread (and lets not forget the dessert table), everything was perfect. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends...I honestly don't know what I would do with out them. Weston is so lucky to have so many awesome "Aunts" and "Uncles"! Here are a couple of pictures of the set up:)

Weston's Nursery

So we are fast approaching Weston's arrival. We are pretty much done with his Nursery (minus a rug and a couple of little things here and there)... here are a couple of pictures to give everyone an idea of what it looks like.

Karrie and Jake Visit

Karrie and Jake came to visit (the weekend after Christmas)! It was a fun but man did those 2 work their butts off. Karrie made soo many delicious meals for us (that we froze) to have for when Weston arrives, she also washed and organized all of the clothes we have for him and cleaned up the house. Im so lucky to have such an amazing best friend/sister and I don't know what I would do without her. Jake also did his part in helping...he helped clean up the kitchen and dust and he was also the driving force behind getting all of Weston's laundry done...He was very into washing, folding and organizing Weston's clothes...He is such a great helper!!
